The Vietnam Kendo Federation was officially established on January 12, 2025, after more than 20 years of development.
Field of activity: Martial arts – Sports – Kendo cultural education
Scope: Nationwide
Target audience: Athletes, coaches, referees, Kendo clubs, and Kendo practitioners in Vietnam
Functions and rolesTo manage and coordinate Kendo activities in Vietnam
To develop and issue professional standards for training, competition, and refereeing according to the international Kendo system
To represent Kendo Vietnam in foreign relations, exchanges, and international cooperation
To contribute to preserving and developing the spiritual, ethical, and cultural values of Kendo
Outstanding activities
To organize national-level Kendo tournaments, both regularly and on specific topics
To organize examinations and recognize ranks (Dan/Kyu) for Kendo practitioners according to professional regulations
To organize seminars and training courses for: Coaches, Referees, Athletes
To invite and collaborate with international experts and martial arts masters in training and exchange
To support Supporting the development of Kendo clubs and movements nationwide.
Orientation:
The Vietnam Kendo Federation aims to build a professional, sustainable, and integrated Kendo community, contributing to the development of Kendo in Vietnam in terms of both professional quality and cultural and spiritual values.
