3) The Kazakhstan Kendo Federation is led by Yerkin Tatishev (5th Dan) — a key figure in promoting kendo nationwide and the founder of HighTech Academy and Budokan HTA Sports & Arts.

The Federation unites three dojos: two in Almaty and one in Astana.

The Federation regularly organizes seminars with visiting Japanese senseis.

Kazakhstan actively participates in international kendo events.

The country has a growing kendo community and an active national team competing in world championships.
